The Journal of Applied Behavior
Analysis is a psychology journal that publishes research about
applications of the experimental analysis of behavior to problems of
social importance.
The National Library of Medicines PMC has scanned the older journal pages, so we can now
make available all work ever published in this journal. Since its birth in 1968,
approximately 2,700 articles on about 23,000 pages have appeared. PDF versions of everything are now available
at no charge.
From Spring 2005 forward, PMC has been presenting each article in the full-text HTML
format, featuring links from references to their PubMed abstracts. Each of these articles
is also available in the more printer-friendly PDF format.
Journal issues are made
freely accessible to the general public about six months (two issues) after publication. Such an
embargo should help us maintain the economic viability of the journal as we endeavor to
broaden access to its content.
Only journal subscribers will have
access to the most recent two issues, either
through their individual or institutional subscriptions. The individual and student subscribers should
register their e-mail addresses on our
Login page.
If you are at a
university whose library does not subscribe, please ask
your librarian to consider doing so. A single library subscription
to either the printed or the online electronic version will open
the most recent issues to the entire university community.
Both individuals and librarians
should consult the login page for further details and to register their email addresses.

Mining our archives.
Because our back issues have
been scanned and served by PubMed Central, we can present several new pages
that are largely based upon
articles that were not previously available in an electronic format.
Selected
Articles Archive Beginning shortly
after this Web site was established in late 1994,
electronic versions of a few Selected Articles from each new issue have been presented.
The Editor will continue to designate a few articles or reviews with that title. Such papers will
be featured in the current Table of Contents
and added to this archive immediately upon publication.
Search about 2,800 JABA abstractsplus 4,000 from JEAB.
Conduct
full-text searches of the abstracts from all articles published in JABA since
1968 and in JEAB since 1958.
Enter an authors name, or any other words
of interest, and get back live links to every relevant abstract.
The abstracts usually contain a link to the PDF version
of the full article.
A highly useful
Cumulative Subject Index covering volumes 31
through 40 all the issues published in 1998 through 2007 appeared in
the Winter 2007 issue (Vol. 40 No. 4).
As of August 29, 2011, the daily number of visitors to the JABA site during the past year had averaged 1,163.
The most recent figure is given here, where
much more usage data for the journal can also be found.
JEAB averaged 392 visitors per day over the same period.
Its most recent year-long average is given
right here.
This SEAB page contains about sixty
links to elements of the Web site. If you have an iPhone or its equivalent, bookmark it.
The page fits reasonably well on the small screen but evan better on the iPad.
